學(xué)科組介紹:鯨類保護(hù)生物學(xué)學(xué)科組的前身是1978年秋成立的白鱀豚研究組。本學(xué)科組致力于白鱀豚、長江江豚、中華白海豚等國家重點保護(hù)水生珍稀野生動物的保護(hù)生物學(xué)研究,重點研究瀕危動物致危的內(nèi)部與外部機理、種群動態(tài)監(jiān)測理論和方法、小種群生物學(xué)和物種復(fù)壯理論、瀕危動物繁殖理論和技術(shù)。圍繞物種保護(hù)問題,深入開展種群生態(tài)學(xué)、繁殖生物學(xué)、聲學(xué)和行為學(xué)以及保護(hù)遺傳學(xué)研究,重點解決就地保護(hù)、自然遷地保護(hù)和飼養(yǎng)繁殖的理論及實踐問題。本學(xué)科組擁有占地2萬平方米的白鱀豚館科研基地,豚館內(nèi)飼養(yǎng)有6頭長江江豚,設(shè)立生態(tài)學(xué)、聲學(xué)和行為學(xué)、生理學(xué)以及分子生物學(xué)實驗室?,F(xiàn)承擔(dān)國家基金(重點項目、面上項目及青年項目)、國家重點研發(fā)專項子課題、農(nóng)業(yè)部長江江豚保護(hù)行動計劃專項、國際合作以及地方委托等20余項課題。目前,本學(xué)科組主要開展以下研究:1)人工飼養(yǎng)及半自然條件下長江江豚繁殖理論與技術(shù)研究;2)長江江豚自然遷地保護(hù)研究;3)自然條件下長江江豚及中華白海豚種群數(shù)量監(jiān)測及棲息地保護(hù)研究;4)長江江豚及中華白海豚的瀕危機理與保護(hù)對策研究;5)江豚和中華白海豚的聲學(xué)及行為生態(tài)學(xué)研究;6)江豚的保護(hù)遺傳學(xué)、分子生態(tài)學(xué)、適應(yīng)性進(jìn)化,以及微生物組學(xué)和病原菌鑒定研究;7)揚子鱷、大鯢及海豹等珍稀水生動物聲行為研究;8)涉水工程、水下噪聲對珍稀水生哺乳動物影響的評估及保護(hù)對策研究。
